Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related discipline; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology with a national credential.
• At least 3 years of OR scrub or teaching experience in surgical technology within the last 5 years.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills for working with students, alumni, faculty and partners.
• Knowledge of programmatic accreditation and regulatory standards (CAAHEP) for Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and guiding students in surgical technology concepts and skills.
• Contribute to Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and academic service.
• Collaborate with clinical sites and faculty to support student placement and outcomes.
