Job summary

University Clinical Health, Inc. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a part-time role in Memphis, TN.

The CST will support patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and align with facility goals and operating room standards. Responsibilities include assisting with teaching plans, stocking and preparing supplies, handling specimens, and ensuring the proper care of sterile and non-sterile equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification.
• BCLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Experience as ORT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and achieve facility goals.
• Assist Clinical Leader/Registered Nurse with teaching plans for patients and families.
• Stock, replenish and prepare supplies; handle specimens as required.
• Maintain care, preparation, and sterilization of supplies and equipment.
• Respond to patient care needs in emergencies under supervision.
