Job summary

CPIhealth is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for our New Albany, OH center. The CST will assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, maintain sterile technique, and help prep patients for procedures in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Candidates should have CST certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of CST experience, with strong customer service and time-management skills. This role supports interventional pain care in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CST certification from an accredited program.
• BLS certification or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and technical assistance to physicians, nurses, and anesthesiologists.
• Assist with timeouts to confirm patient identity and correct procedure.
• Sterilize, decontaminate, and maintain instruments per policy.
• Prepare patients for surgery and position them on the table.
• Ensure sterile technique and safety throughout the procedure.
• Turn over rooms between cases and assist the team as directed.
