Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in one of the following: Diploma in Nursing, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Provides quality nursing care based on a family centered approach.
• Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
• Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process.
• Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.
