Job summary

YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce is hiring a Supply Educator for our Child Care program. This role offers up to 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start date as soon as possible.

The position includes responsibilities in implementing the Playing to Learn curriculum, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting families and staff within a values-driven YMCA environment. Wage is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a focus on health, safety and ongoing

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements age-appropriate activities based on the Playing to Learn curriculum.
• Ensures immunizations, physicals and background checks are up to date.
• Maintains a clean environment and reports on child development as required.
• Promotes teamwork and supports other staff and volunteers.
• Performs administrative duties and follows YMCA policies and procedures.
