Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a part-time Customer Supply Chain Support in Hackettstown, NJ. You will support the customer's on-site supply chain, handle inventory, orders, and coordination with teams to ensure service excellence.

This entry-level role offers onboarding, potential flexible scheduling after training, and exposure to continuous improvement processes within a Fortune 500 distributor environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older, per position requirements.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Customer service oriented and comfortable in a sales-oriented environment.
• Be able to lift, slide, carry and lower packages up to 75 lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and coordinate resources.
• Manage inventory and fulfill orders.
• Receive and ship inventory.
• Execute inventory fulfillment at the customer facility.
• Source and quote new and existing products.
• Participate in continuous improvement and implement new processes.
• Monetize and report the value of supply chain activities to the customer.
