Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned classes following the absent teacher’s written lesson plans.
• Notifies the office when entering and leaving the building.
• Follows established teachers’ working hours.
• Maintains a positive learning environment and supervises students.
• Communicates with the principal and staff to resolve questions and concerns.
• Prepares a written summary of work completed.
• Promotes proper use and care of district property.
• Works with staff to address equipment safety and security.
