Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Vancouver, WA seeks a part-time substitute teacher to support the instructional program by maintaining a safe, orderly, and consistent learning environment aligned with school plans.

The role requires a B.A. (or higher) and a Washington teaching certificate with endorsement (or ability to obtain). You will teach various courses, follow policies, and collaborate with staff, while engaging in school events and Catholic mission.

Qualifications

• B.A. (or higher).
• Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with students in an educational setting (or similar).
• Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong classroom-management skills.
• Ability to facilitate classroom instruction and follow teacher plans.
• Support the Catholic identity, values, and mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of courses as assigned.
• Abide by school rules, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with school leadership and other classroom teachers.
