Job summary

Archdiocese of Seattle seeks a part-time Substitute Teacher for Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Vancouver, WA. The role supports the instructional program by maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment in line with school plans.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, following policies, and communicating with school leadership and teachers. Salary is determined based on internal equity and experience; benefits are included for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a B.A. (or higher).
• Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with endorsement.
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
• Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong classroom-management skills.
• Ability to facilitate instruction and follow lesson plans.
• Support Catholic identity and mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
