Kokua Education in the Austin area is hiring substitute teachers in Buda and surrounding communities. Set your own schedule and earn up to $200 per day while making a real difference in students’ lives.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
• Completed 48+ college credit hours
• Feel confident managing a classroom of students
• Are willing to step in where needed - this could include lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season
• Pass state & federal background checks (costs reimbursed after 10 assignments)

Responsibilities

• Cover lesson plans and support classroom activities as needed
• Be a positive role model in school communities and support students’ learning

You’ll earn:

• Up to $200/day paid weekly
• $129 daily - some college (48+ credits), or Associate’s
• $150 daily - Bachelor’s or higher
• $200 daily - long-term assignments (all qualification levels)
• Paid via W-2, meaning no year-end tax headaches
