J.Jill in Danbury is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate who builds relationships, offers styling advice, and delivers a welcoming shopping experience. You will help customers find products, support sales goals, and maintain store standards.

The role supports a friendly, inclusive team with opportunities for growth; requires flexibility including weekends, evenings, and holidays; prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect products, ensuring their shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable while contributing to achieving sales goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill’s merchandise to offer expert guidance and recommendations.
• Help maintain visual merchandising standards and floor set execution, and participate in all operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help your store be successful.
