Qualifications

• BFA/BA in Art with an active professional portfolio and at least three years of teaching or professional experience in Art.
• Experience with contemporary approaches to art, creative research, and critical thinking is preferred.
• Ability to teach diverse urban student populations including students of color and first-generation students.

Responsibilities

• Teach 1–3 classes in studio foundations, drawing, painting, printmaking, or related media; in-person on campus.
• Deliver course content in person or online; prepare materials, grade work, and provide timely feedback.
• Ensure instruction aligns with the syllabus and department policies; support students as needed.
