Job summary

DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA is seeking a current student to join as a Student TA for MUS-150 and MUS-150L (Schwedler). This on-site, part-time role supports the instructor in the classroom, assists with labs, and helps with grading and attendance.

TAs meet weekly with the instructor for feedback and performance review. The position requires residence in Washington, while remote work outside the state is not allowed.

Qualifications

• Be proficient with the course materials, concepts, and tools.
• Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude and a willingness to help others.
• Must be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the instructor in the classroom as needed, including:
• Setup classroom and studio equipment
• Take attendance
• Assist with grading outside the classroom
• Meet regularly with the instructor
• Meet with students outside class to answer questions and assist with course work
• Meet with the instructor regularly for performance feedback and duty modification.
