Job summary

DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student TA for MAT-150 (Hanson) to support lab activities and grading for the fall term. The role is limited to current DigiPen students residing in Washington and requires adherence to class schedules and presence during office hours.

Responsibilities include grading assignments and exams, assisting students in labs, meeting online if required, and uploading grades to Moodle, with 5–10 hours per week and a wage of $17.13–$18.25 per hour from Aug 31

Qualifications

• Have proven proficiency with the MAT-150 course material
• Possess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel
• Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
• Arrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hours
• Successfully completed this course
• Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow students

Responsibilities

• Grading student work and/or exams
• Assisting students in labs and during published office hours
• Meeting students online, if required
• Uploading grades onto Moodle
• Timely delivery of graded reports/assignments and maintaining consistency and clarity in grading
• Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked
