Qualifications

• Completed 1 year radiography program and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist in positioning.
• Adjust exposure by patient and procedure specifics.
• Follow radiation safety standards and use shielding materials.
• Review radiographic images for quality (density, contrast, distortion).
• Maintain x-ray rooms and stock radiology supplies.
• Clean and adjust radiologic equipment as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Monitor imaging storage in PACS and archives.
• Handle clerical duties related to x-ray imaging and reports.
