Job summary

John Deere in Ankeny, IA is offering a Part Time Student - Quality position focused on supporting manufacturing quality processes. You must be a full-time student and ready to commit to 10–20 hours weekly during the academic year and 30–40 hours in the summer.

You\'ll participate in training, assist management, and work on projects aligned with business plans. Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science students encouraged, GPA 2.8+, with Creo and Python helpful.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in electrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering or computer science.
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited University
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Available to work 10-20 hours/week during the academic year
• Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester
• Must be able to commute to the work location in Ankeny, IA on a daily basis year-round
• Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior standing students are preferred, Senior standing and those pursuing Advanced degrees may apply.
• Understanding of various functions within respective business.

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
