Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) is seeking students to fill Student Learning Design Assistant positions to support learning design programming. Typical duties include:
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, well-organized, have excellent communication skills, and a passion to learn. Experience with asynchronous learning is a plus. The candidate should also be comfortable with Canvas, Office 365, Google Suite, Kaltura, and Zoom, and willing to expand their knowledge of additional teaching and learning tools.
Positions are part-time, 10-20 hours per week, with asynchronous work and periodic synchronous work on Zoom between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A working knowledge of other Penn State services, such as University Libraries and Media Commons, is desired. Although primarily remote, occasional travel to University Park or Commonwealth campuses may be required.
