Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Part-Time Student for JDPS Application Engineering in Waterloo, IA. The role supports GAE application engineering and contributes to project deliverables while you study.

This position is onsite and requires commuting to Waterloo, IA. Ideal candidates are enrolled undergrad/grad students with a Spring 2028 or later graduation date, a 2.8+ GPA, and the ability to work 16–20 hours during the academic year and 35–40 hours in the summer, using Microsoft Office and related

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university.
  • Graduation date Spring 2028 or later.
  • GPA 2.8 or above.
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work during the summer 35-40 hours/weekly.
  • Must be able to commute to Waterloo, IA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Your Responsibilities

As a Part time student - JDPS Application Engineering for JD Power Systems located in Waterloo, IA you will:

  • Supporting GAE application engineering in completing projects/task are necessary to meet APDP project deliverable for partners

  • Enrolled in undergraduate/Graduate degree programs

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
