Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Communications Intern to assist the Experiential Learning team with digital marketing, storytelling, and content creation that highlights hands-on learning on campus.
The role offers in-person work, flexible 10-15 hour weeks, and opportunities to build a professional portfolio across written, visual, and digital media.

The Communications Intern will work closely with the Experiential Learning (EL) team to help share stories and opportunities that highlight IU's commitment to hands-on learning. This position offers a unique opportunity for a creative student, preferably from The Media School or a related communications field, to gain professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, and storytelling within a collaborative, supportive university environment.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This position is eligible for Federal Work Study.
2 samples of writing, photography, or design work will be requested at the onset of an interview.

$15.00 per hour
10-15 hours per week. Schedule is flexible.
