Job summary

Alamo Colleges District is seeking a part-time Peer Advisor - Student Ambassador for the NLC program in Universal City, TX. This hourly, temporary role supports faculty and staff in student services and coordinates with prospective and new students.

You must be enrolled in at least six credit hours; GPA requirements may apply for certain programs. The position is not benefits-eligible and supports recruitment and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the Alamo Colleges District colleges or another accredited institution of higher education.
• Some programs/positions may require an overall GPA of at least 2.75.

Responsibilities

• Assists College faculty and staff in a variety of student services areas.
• Provides assistance and encouragement to prospective and new students.
• Refers students to appropriate College service area when necessary.
