Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced strings & woodwinds substitute teacher to teach part-time at Natomas School of Music in Sacramento, CA. The position is in-person, with the ability to teach additional instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, or ukulele.

Applicants should hold a degree in performance, pedagogy, or have equivalent performing experience, and demonstrate a love of teaching and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong music background with a degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Experience teaching or working with young musicians.
• Punctual, reliable transportation and ability to pass a routine background check.
• Willingness to teach additional instruments (piano, guitar, drums, ukulele) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach strings and woodwinds substitutes in person at Natomas School of Music in Sacramento, CA.
• Set availability within open hours and maintain consistency with school staff and students.
• Support regular students when possible and communicate scheduling needs to the school.
