Story Time Chess is seeking energetic storytellers/actors/tutors for part-time roles in the Metro Atlanta area. Teach chess through our story-driven curriculum, with clear lesson plans and ongoing support.

Opportunities for leadership, coaching peers, and building relationships with schools and community partners. Roles are part-time, after-school hours, located in Metro Atlanta, GA, with compensation of $25–$40 per teaching hour and $25 per hour for non-teaching time.

Qualifications

• Clear, engaging communication with families, schools and communities.
• Experience engaging children aged 3–7 is a plus.
• Willingness to lead, train and mentor other tutors is valued.

Responsibilities

• Teach chess concepts through Story Time Chess scripts and activities.
• Use provided lesson plans, attend training, and deliver engaging sessions.
• Potential to lead demo classes and mentor a team of tutors in schools/communities.
