Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and shopping area. Handle transactions accurately.

Essential Functions:

• Present a professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.


• Manage personal cash drawer accurately; open, close, and balance it. Follow all Salvation Army cash handling procedures.


• Understand the Point of Sale system and complete sales effectively. Proficiency should be achieved within the first three months.


• Keep the work environment clean, including the cash register area and store. Tasks include cleaning, straightening, hanging, and restocking.


• Maintain a friendly demeanor, greet customers, and offer assistance.


• Follow all policies regarding merchandise sales.


• Keep the sales floor stocked and display new merchandise. Strive to meet daily production goals.


• Be available for a flexible schedule.
