Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Southfield, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

You will also help receive trucks, move products to the sales floor, and maintain clean spaces while working with a cooperative team to support community programs. Training is provided and evenings/weekends are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day

Job description

Location: Southfield MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
