Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Livonia is seeking a Retail Store Processor for part-time work. The role involves processing donated goods, tagging and pricing, keeping shelves organized, and helping meet production goals while supporting our community programs.

Training is provided and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills are available. Work includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Compensation ranges from $13.73 to $15.73 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise accurately and quickly.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for all shifts.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift during shifts.
• Currently pursuing or have completed high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price donated merchandise.

• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload, and move products to departments.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
