Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wisconsin—Onalaska area—to act as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store.

You will lead customer service excellence and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting store operations. The role requires strong communication, cash handling duties, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver's license with insurance

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on products and services
• Escalate issues to store manager or higher authorities as needed
• Answer telephone inquiries and process customer applications and requests
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations
• Provide professional, accurate information and ensure customers feel supported
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and resolve issues
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits
• Balance daily receipts and resolve over/short discrepancies
• Perform customer verifications to validate information
• Process transactions (loans, check cashing, Net Spend) per policy
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings
• Other duties as assigned
