Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Retail Cashier/Stocker who can perform in a lead capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. This role supports plan-o-grams, merchandising programs, and delivers exceptional customer service to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment while ensuring security and accuracy at the register.

Qualifications

• Experience as cashier or similar in retail.
• Ability to lead in the absence of the manager.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to the store's process.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes following procedures.
• Stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, and build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Order zones and drop shipment categories per Store Manager instructions.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Help customers locate merchandise and answer questions.
• Maintain store cleanliness: floors, restrooms, stockroom, and trash removal.
• Operate the cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag items.
