Job summary

Salvation Army in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Part Time with Benefits retail associate. You will assist customers, stock merchandise, and help manage donations while observing store security and maintaining a clean environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior retail experience is preferred. This position includes benefits and may involve volunteer donation receipt processing and customer service tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred and experience working in a retail store preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Stock, arrange, and display furniture, bric-a-brac, books, clothes, and other similar products; rotate and/or rearrange stock as needed; return items to the proper location.
• Perform routine security activities while observing customers shopping in the store.
• Assist with moving donations to the storage area; prepare and provide donation receipts.
• Perform various cleaning activities, including cleaning display racks, shelves, windows, mirrors, storage area; sweep and mop floors; clean other areas as needed.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
