Position Details:
- Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours/week
- Starting Wage: $18.50/hr
- Wage Progression: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50, Year 4 - $20.60, Year 5 - $22.10
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to management.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data.
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are neat.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Report product issues, inventory losses, and scanning errors to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness.
- Follow planograms for attractive displays.
- Organize new inventory and manage packaging materials.
- Operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift (up to 45 lbs), and walk within the store.
- Stockers must be able to handle merchandise from receiving to shelving.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older.
- Ability to provide prompt, courteous service.
- Capable of performing cleaning duties and understanding company policies.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge of company products and services.
- Cashiers must operate registers accurately and comply with alcohol sales regulations.
- Stockers must operate equipment safely and be available for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience preferred but not required; relevant education and experience will be considered.
