Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers something new each day.

Position Details:

• Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $18.50/hr
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50, Year 4 - $20.60, Year 5 - $22.10

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to management.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are neat.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Report product issues, inventory losses, and scanning errors to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness.
• Follow planograms for attractive displays.
• Organize new inventory and manage packaging materials.
• Operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift (up to 45 lbs), and walk within the store.
• Stockers must be able to handle merchandise from receiving to shelving.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to provide prompt, courteous service.
• Capable of performing cleaning duties and understanding company policies.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good time management skills.
• Knowledge of company products and services.
• Cashiers must operate registers accurately and comply with alcohol sales regulations.
• Stockers must operate equipment safely and be available for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred but not required; relevant education and experience will be considered.
