Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include operating registers or machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and serving customers. Enjoy a role that offers variety each day.

Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50, Year 3 - $18.00, Year 4 - $18.00, Year 5 - $19.00

Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to management
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform additional duties as assigned

* Process customer purchases, perform cleaning, stock shelves, and organize displays.

* Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.

* Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.

* Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.

* Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness.
• Follow merchandising plans for displays.
• Organize inventory and handle packaging materials.
• Operate machinery following safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk.
• Stockers must lift up to 45 pounds and handle merchandise at various heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service.
• Perform cleaning to company standards.
• Interpret and apply policies effectively.

* Cashiers should operate registers efficiently and comply with alcohol sales regulations.

* Stockers should operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers, and be available for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
