Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you’ll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers something new each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Fewer than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $18.50/hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50

Responsibilities

General Duties

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to supervisors
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, clean, stock shelves, and arrange merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Report product issues, inventory losses, and errors
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and follow merchandising plans
• Organize inventory and dispose of empty boxes
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety procedures

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift (up to 45 lbs), carry, and walk in the store

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and follow policies
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products/services
• Cashier: operate register accurately; comply with alcohol sale laws
• Stocker: operate equipment safely; available for early morning shifts

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred or equivalent education/experience
