Job description

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers new challenges each day.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Collaborating with team members and communicating relevant information to the leader
• Upholding security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Processing customer purchases, cleaning, stocking shelves, and merchandising
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Providing feedback on products, inventory, and issues
• Participating in inventory counts and monitoring accuracy
• Adhering to cash handling policies

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stocking shelves and rotating products
• Following merchandising planograms
• Organizing inventory and operating machinery safely

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking
• Stocking: lifting up to 45 pounds and handling products at various heights

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older

• Product knowledge

For Cashiers: operate cash register efficiently and legally handle alcohol sales. For Stockers: operate equipment safely, including hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers. Morning availability is required for stockers.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent education and experience considered
