Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you’ll operate registers or machinery, stock shelves, keep stores tidy, and serve customers. Start a job that offers variety each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Fewer than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hr
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

General Duties

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Provide feedback on products and inventory issues
• Assist with inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate products, follow merchandising plans
• Organize inventory and operate equipment safely

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift (up to 45 lbs), and walk frequently

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Provide courteous customer service
• Perform cleaning duties and follow policies
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of company products/services
• For Cashiers: operate register accurately; for Stockers: operate equipment safely
• Availability for early morning shifts, starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
