Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers new challenges each day.

Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50, Year 4 - $19.50, Year 5 - $20.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the leader
• Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, stock shelves, and maintain displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness
• Follow merchandising plans for displays
• Organize inventory and handle packaging materials
• Operate machinery safely following all safety protocols

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk within the store
• Stockers must lift up to 45 pounds and operate equipment safely

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt, courteous service
• Perform cleaning to company standards
• Understand and apply company policies
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products and services

• Cashiers must operate registers accurately and efficiently, and comply with beverage handling laws
• Stockers must operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers safely
• Availability for morning shifts as early as 5:00 a.m. is required

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
