Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you’ll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers variety each day.

Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00; Year 3 - $18.50; Year 4 - $18.50; Year 5 - $19.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the leader
• Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, perform cleaning duties, and merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Report feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness
• Follow merchandising planograms for attractive displays
• Organize inventory, break down boxes, and operate equipment safely

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
• Stockers must lift up to 45 pounds and handle merchandise at various heights

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service
• Perform cleaning duties to standards
• Understand and apply company policies
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products and services

• Cashier: operate registers accurately; comply with alcohol sales laws
• Stocker: operate equipment safely; morning availability required

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience
