The Salvation Army Mission:

Job Objective:

Provide excellent customer service to our donors who come to the door in a store. Maintain a clean and well-organized donation area. Handle each transaction with accuracy.

Essential Functions:

• Present a professional appearance, adhering to the dress code at all times.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor, greet donors, and offer assistance if needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized donation area.
• Be responsible for all operations and security matters while on duty.
• Receive and receipt all donated materials, ensuring email addresses are obtained from as many donors as possible.
• Safeguard all donated materials and assigned equipment.
• Track donations according to center policy.
• Courtously advise donors about unacceptable materials and inform them about heavy materials that require pickup service.
• Where applicable, power sort donations as they arrive.
• Report complaints, damages, and injuries occurring in or near the donation area.
• Sort, load, and unload all Salvation Army trucks according to center policy.
• Support production processes as needed.
• Be available for a flexible schedule.
