Job summary

The Stride Rite Childrens Group, LLC is looking for a Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our brands and the ability to engage customers effectively.

Responsibilities include operating the point of sale, managing inventory, and achieving sales goals. A high school diploma and flexibility in scheduling are required. Previous retail experience is a plus.

At Wolverine Worldwide, our Sales Associates are called upon to provide customers with superior service and to create an atmosphere within the store conducive to a pleasant shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by being fully knowledgeable about store products and policies.
• Operate the point of sale register, accurately record transactions, and handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Detect theft and other security risks.
• Handle inventory such as merchandise and displays by moving boxes and items up to 40 lbs and climbing ladders.
• Create amazing experiences for our customers.
• Achieve sales goals and performance metrics.
• Follow best in class operational and presentation standards.
• Work together as a team.
• Perform duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by manager.
