Job summary

Smart & Final is seeking a Part-time Associate at the 345 Los Angeles location. You will help maintain inventory, stock shelves, operate registers, and provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Starting rate is $18.50 per hour. You’ll assist with carry-out services, store cleaning, and basic bookkeeping while complying with sanitation standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Read and write English; interact with the public and coworkers.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills recommended.
• Retail Management Certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section; stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and rotation.
• Operate a cash register; handle payments and refunds; verify alcohol eligibility.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and assist customers to their vehicles when needed.
• Perform basic bookkeeping; record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
