ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers in Centre County, PA. You will merchandise, stock, cashier, and maintain a clean, organized store to deliver a great shopping experience.

Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with scheduled increases to $18.50, $19.00, and $20.00 over five years. Roles include cashier duties, stocking shelves, and general store duties with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with cashiering duties using POS system.
• Follow cash policies and ensure accuracy at checkout.
• Open additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly per planograms.
• Arrive early for shifts as needed (5:00am earliest).
• Perform general cleaning to company standards.
• Work with store management to achieve operational goals.
