BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated Part-time Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will prepare instruments and the operating room for surgery, ensure supplies are stocked, and support the surgical team with equipment, cleaning, and decontamination according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining instrument sterility and assisting surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.
• Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.
• Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to procedures.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs.
• Serving as a resource to surgical team regarding equipment.
