Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) seeks a part-time instructor to teach sterile processing courses in Albuquerque. The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction to diverse learners, maintaining records, and guiding students through registration and graduation steps.

Classes are assigned as needed based on enrollment and term requirements. The candidate will collaborate with the Dean and colleagues to enhance student learning experiences, maintain course outcomes, and

Qualifications

• Current CBSPD or CRCST certification.
• Two years recent Sterile Processing experience.
• Sterile Processing teaching or training experience.
• Ability to relate to and instruct a non-traditional, diverse student population.
• Knowledge of current developments in sterile processing and teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create a quality learning environment for a diverse student population.
• Maintain student records and documentation for in-completes.
• Use technology-based programs to access input student records and processes.
• Assist students with registration, advising, and graduation processes.
• Structure classes to align with program and course outcomes.
• Prepare and distribute instructional materials and syllabi.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries.
• Offer office hours and attend required meetings and events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
