Job summary

Central Admixture Pharmacy is hiring a Part time Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding in Norcross, GA. The role involves preparing sterile IV medications under supervision, following CAPS policies, and maintaining cleanroom readiness.

You will work a part-time schedule (9am-5:30pm) with weekends, and a salary range of $18.00-$23.00 per hour. Required Georgia license; aseptic training preferred. Company offers benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training provided.
• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of sterile IV medications under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Adhere to CAPS policies and procedures.
• Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Set up the compounding room, equipment and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• This job function is not exhaustive and may include other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
