The incumbent will maintain logs, coordinate with the Chief Engineer, and perform routine maintenance. Part-time schedule with 24 hours weekly, shifts Fri–Sun, with 8- or 12-hour options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus three years of operating experience in steam plant operations.
• Must hold a First Grade Maryland Stationary Engineer’s License.
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 5 points.

Responsibilities

• Ensure firetube boilers and auxiliary equipment run efficiently to produce steam.
• Maintain daily logs and communicate with Chief Engineer.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned.
