Job summary

Young STEAMers is seeking part-time STEAM Instructors to bring hands-on learning to students in under-resourced communities across the San Francisco Bay Area.

You will lead hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities at partner schools and community sites, helping students build confidence, ask questions, and see new possibilities for their futures.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging children through teaching, tutoring, camps, mentoring, or similar activities.
• Ability to prepare for each lesson and learn from feedback.
• Consistent availability during scheduled program hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on STEAM activities at partner schools and sites around the SF Bay Area.
• Help students build confidence, ask questions, and solve problems.

Strong candidates will demonstrate:
