Job summary

Bronx Children's Museum is seeking a part-time Museum Educator to engage children and families through Arts and STEAM activities. The role includes in-museum programs, outreach, and field trips within the Bronx, with Saturday availability required.

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience with young children, a strong passion for education, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. The position is on-site in Bronx, NY with a flexible schedule based on program needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on Arts and STEAM activities for children and families.
• Support inclusive and sensory-friendly learning experiences.
• Assist with program setup, breakdown, and organization of materials and supplies.
• Travel to schools and community locations within the Bronx for outreach programs.
• Support on-site field trips as needed on weekdays.
• Represent the museum professionally in the community.
