Qualifications

• Some teaching experience is required; middle school exposure preferred.
• Background in engineering, design, fabrication, or related field.
• Proficiency with Fusion 360 and Tinkercad.
• Experience with 3D printing, laser cutters and general shop tools.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week from January 4 through June 10, 2027, with classes scheduled weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Teach two sections of STM120 during the second semester, January 4 through June 10, 2027.
• Introduce students to design thinking through hands-on projects and fabrication.
• Guide students through the full design process: ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Support student-driven projects and independent work.
• Teach and reinforce safe, responsible use of fabrication equipment and shop tools.
