Indiana University East seeks a part-time Entrepreneur in Residence to lead the IU Innovates East Founders Group, a 6-week program designed to help students explore, develop, and launch entrepreneurial ventures. The role serves as the primary operational leader and mentor for the program, coordinating across IU East and the School of Business and Economics.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and experience starting or advising ventures, with preferred experience in entrepreneurship

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience starting, operating, advising, or supporting ventures.
Preferred experience in entrepreneurship education, start-up mentoring, business development, or venture creation.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the 6-week IU Innovates East Founders Group.
Recruit students from across IU East for the program.
Coordinate weekly asynchronous activities and synchronous online Founders Group meetings.
Provide individual mentoring to participating student entrepreneurs.
Help participants identify milestones toward entrepreneurial development.
Supervise student Community Managers assisting with recruitment, sessions, and tracking.
