Job summary

Weber State University is seeking an AT/OT Clinical Simulation Standardized Patient to assist faculty in MSAT and OTA programs in Ogden, UT. This hourly work-study position emphasizes communication and feedback with students and faculty.

Applicants must be undergraduates with at least a 2.0 GPA and full-time enrollment. Preference given to those who completed RHS 3505: Standardized Patients. The pool-based hire is ongoing as positions open.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate student in good standing with the University and continuously enrolled full-time (12 or more credit hours, 9 credit hours for graduate students).
• Minimum 2.0 GPA and ability to participate as a standardized patient in MSAT and OTA simulations.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train on standardized patient cases and portray as part of MSAT & OTA simulations.
• Provide feedback to MSAT & OTA students on communication skills during patient interactions.
• Participate in a pooled selection process; applicants notified as positions become available and pool expires.
