Job summary

Healix Infusion Care is seeking a Part Time Infusion Nurse to administer patient care services at one of our Infusion Centers located in the Pittsburgh, PA area. You will work 2 days per week and provide infusion therapy across multiple specialties in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN or ADN with a current RN license, have at least 2 years of clinical RN experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required with active nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience in clinical setting.
• Critical care or outpatient/homecare infusion experience preferred.
• Recent IV administration and catheter management experience.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for infusion center.
• Provide infused and injectable medications to scheduled patients.
• Access PICC lines and port-a-caths for administration and maintenance.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy information.
• Monitor patient treatment, safety, and outcomes.
• Coordinate care with ordering providers, Healix Nurse Practitioner, and in-center staff.
• Assist with scheduling, daily service charting, inventory management, and follow-up coordination.

You will be working 2 days/week.As an Infusion Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical services in a multi-specialty infusion center – providing therapy to patients with conditions in the neurological, gastroenterology, rheumatology, cardiology, or allergy/asthma specialties, and more.
