Mercyhealth is seeking a qualified coach to design and implement strength and conditioning programs for athletes, with an emphasis on safety and performance. The role includes intake, goal setting, and educating clients on training methods at Mercyhealth facilities.

The position involves designing personalized programs, demonstrating exercises, and supporting marketing and outreach to schools and the community.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field (Kinesiology/ Athletic Training).
• Certifications in Speed & Agility Instruction (ASFA), Strength & Conditioning (NSCA), Performance Enhancement (NASM) or CSCS preferred.
• Approved CPR or BLS certification is required.

Mansioni

• Perform initial intake sessions with clients including phone contacts and orientation.
• Monitor client responses and help set realistic goals.
• Demonstrate exercises and training techniques with safety focus.
• Educate clients and families on anatomy, physiology and proper training methods.
• Design and write training programs for athletes at various levels.
• Ensure proper documentation of sessions.
